Letter Received by the Founders from RJ:
"Recently, I have been receiving many complaints that the Wheel Of Time is not politically correct. I have been advised by my lawyer to make changes so that it will be politically correct, and there by, avoid the chance of a lawsuit. I have inclosed a list of corrections that I would like you to make in your books and reasons why.

- The Dark One no longer has a name because the term Dark is found offensive by those of African descent. Refer to him as the entity formerly known as the Dark One.
- The White Tower is now just The Tower, because White means purity and can be misinterpretted by different races of people.
- White Cloaks no longer have a name. Can't be called Children of the Light for racial reasons also.
- Remove all refrences to Rand loving 3 women. This is offensive to non-Mormons.
- Change Halfmen to Fades. Offensive to hermaphodites and those that lost legs in a war.
- Change the Creator to The Creator(s) so as not to offend polythiestic societies, those that believe in multiple gods.
- Remove all references to the Creator(s). Offensive to athiests.
- Remove all scenes with violence so as not to corrupt the youth of the world.
- The Souless no longer have a name. Offensive to those without rythmn and soul.
- The eyeless are just fades. Offensive to those withour eyes.
- Change some Aes Sedai to male characters, offensive to those that believe men and women are equal.
- Please cross out all sections refering to characters being re-woven out of the pattern due to the fact that it is offensive to those that don't believe in reincarnation.
- Asha'man was found offensive by equal rights organisations. All Asha'man shall now be known as Asha'persons.
- Burn your books, they are offensive to the illiterate.
