Brown Ajah Ink Signals


[I seriously did not know about this post until recently when I was rummaging through my old files. It seems as though was written about a year before and I copied it from the BB but totally forgot to HTMLize it. . . well, here it is!]
Inspired by a great chatroom moment (Kara, you bring the worst out in me *w*) I decided to publish this invaluable guide to the ink smudge code system of the Brown Ajah. Yes, that's right - as you know it is compulsory for Brown Ajah to have a visible ink smudge upon the face. After many hours of study and running the raw, compiled data through high powered analytical super computers, I finally present the answers in a simple, concise list, as below. Consider it my christmas gift to you, and know gratitude.

Smudge shape: Triangular
Direction: Upward
Area: Nose
Meaning: Please fetch the Amyrlin, I think I've found a Dragon.

Smudge shape: Triangular
Direction: Downwards
Area: Nose
Means: Forget the Amyrlin, I just killed a Dragon

Smudge shape: Triangular
Direction: Left/Right
Area: Nose
Means: Bugger... the Dragon, he went thattaway!

Direction: N/A
Area: Left cheek
Means: Back off sisters, this man is mine.

Means: back off sisters, this woman is mine.
